During my recent stay at Maison De Dame Tartine to ring in the New Year, I was utterly charmed by the warm hospitality and rustic elegance of the guesthouse. Nestled among scenic mountains, we were greeted with stunning views that perfectly encapsulated the tranquillity of the region. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the copious, homemade meals featuring delights such as wild boar pâté, which tantalized my taste buds—although I do advise vegetarians to reconsider! The communal areas, including a shared lounge and sun terrace overlooking the gardens, provided a perfect setting for relaxing with my travel companions and sharing stories from our wildlife adventures. I found our private room well-appointed, complete with a balcony that beckoned for morning coffee while soaking in the peaceful surroundings.
